Dame Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg, DBE was an English actress. She played Emma Peel in the TV series The Avengers (1965–68) and Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones (2013–17). She has also had a career in theatre, including playing the title role in Medea, both in London and New York, for which she won the 1994 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play.

Alright, who’s up for a bit of classic beauty? Yes, it’s time we paid homage to the one and only Dame Diana Rigg. She was born in 1938 in Doncaster, and she’s an absolute legend of stage and screen. A real force of nature, that one.

Before she graced our screens as Emma Peel in “The Avengers”, Diana spent years honing her craft on stage. She was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company, no less. She’s played some of the greats – Medea, Lady Macbeth – talk about a class act!

Then came “The Avengers” and Diana took the world by storm. She was strong, she was witty, and she kicked some serious backside. She redefined what it meant to be a woman on screen and we loved her for it.

Now, let’s talk about those legs. Diana Rigg had a pair of legs that were nothing short of legendary. Long, lean and always perfectly poised – whether she was jumping off buildings or just casually lounging. And the way she showcased them, well, it was art, pure and simple.

One can’t help but mention Diana’s iconic leather catsuits in “The Avengers”. They became her trademark look, emphasising her long, toned legs and adding an extra dose of sass. But who could forget those scenes where she wore elegant stockings? It’s no exaggeration to say they became iconic moments in television history.

So here’s to Dame Diana Rigg. She was a trailblazer, a style icon, and a woman with legs that will always be remembered. Diana, we miss you, and we’ll always admire you. Thanks for the memories.
